Kevin Randle: The Roswell Nuns - Again

One of the interesting and elusive aspects of the Roswell case; the nun's diaries. (Or were there?) Roswell expert Kevin Randle shares his thoughts at his blog A Different Perspective:

A Different Perspective: The Roswell Nuns - Again: Given all this, I’m not sure that another posting is necessary. However, to make it clear for everyone, there were nuns in Roswell in July 1947. They kept diaries that were eventually sent on to Oklahoma and later to Wisconsin. However, as near as I can tell, no one ever saw an entry that related to something falling out of the sky on July 4, 1947, and if the diaries existed, I do not believe they will be found now. I suspect they do not exist, or rather that specific entry does not exist, and the source of the information is a man who claimed to be a Special Forces captain but who was not. He pointed us, meaning Don Schmitt and me, to a nun in Roswell who said that she had seen the entry, and while she may be telling the truth, there is no way we can prove it now. (Kevin Randle)

Kathleen Marden: "Debunkers at it Again"

Uber debunker Robert Sheaffer (who moonlights as an anti-feminist) has uncovered a letter written by Dr. Benjamin Simon to fellow uber debunker Phillip Klass (who is now, of course, deceased.)  In that letter, Simon gave his opinions on the Barney and Betty Hill case, stating that he did not believe them. Now, this is all alleged. Highly so. Kathleen Marden, (Betty Hill's niece) co-author of Captured! The Betty and Barney Hill UFO Experience, has quite a lot to say about Sheaffer and this letter.

Debunkers at it Again: The intentions voiced in the letter would have been a violation of his contract with John Fuller and a violation of doctor-patient confidentiality. I had thought about publishing the letter in my book Captured! The Betty and Barney Hill UFO Experience, with Stanton Friedman, but decided not to, due to uncertainty about of the identity of the writer. Betty had marked "Forged Letter!” at the top of the letter. I have had it and other letters that Dr. Simon wrote to Betty examined by several individuals, including three who were close to Dr. Simon, and all believe it is probably a forgery. The style and phraseology were not characteristic of Dr. Simon's writing. An important piece of information is the fact that Dr. Simon signed a non-competition clause with John Fuller. He could not have legally written a book. It is doubtful that Klass would have known this. Dr. Simon was circumspect with regard to sharing his opinions about the Hill case, and it would have been highly uncharacteristic of him to opine or violate doctor-patient confidentiality. Updated: Owl Synchronicity!

I reposted this on the Oregon L.O.W.F.I. page a few minutes ago, and, as I was posting, I remembered something while I was in the doctor's office -- after I asked her about the owl plush (see below) she added that the other day, the topic of owls came up the group she was with. Then, searching for something unrelated to owls, I found this  -- an interview I had done some time ago, except I don't remember this at all! (I apologize to the interviewer! I'll have to listen and see what jars loose.) Anyway, at the end of the blurb introducing the interview was this:
Next
mythic owl dream

Yesterday, posting on Facebook, social media in general and here about Mike Clelland's book The Messengers. An obvious aspect of the owls  within the context of the strange is that they appear when you start talking about them. So last night, while washing the dinner dishes, I was thinking about this, wondering if I'll experience any owl synchronicity in the aftermath of posting about Mike's book. (Humbled to say, I'm mentioned in the book.) Then I had a thought about playing with "them" -- the "be careful what you wish for"  adage.

(After writing this post, went back to upload images, as happened yesterday, is not working. The owls do not want to be seen today it seems.)

Today I open the paper, and find this item about the return of the "angry owl" in Salem:

Angry owl is back in Salem | Local | Eugene, Oregon: SALEM — The year is ending the way it began in Salem, with an aggressive owl going after people.

At least two attacks have been reported more than a mile north of a park where joggers were attacked in January, said Julie Curtis, spokeswoman for the Department of State Lands.
Owl caution signs are posted to warn visitors of possible owl attacks.

Later this morning, I was in my doctor's office. I noticed a stuffed owl toy on her bookshelf. I didn't think I had noticed it before, so I asked her if she had always had that owl there. She looked over there and said "Oh, that's not an owl, it's a pneumonia germ." There's a whole world out there of germ plushies. Ew. Anyway, it looked exactly like this; this is the one:

Pneumonia germ plushie, mistaken for owl toy
And lastly, here's a quote to muse upon:

“The owl,” he was saying, “is one of the most curious creatures. A bird that stays awake when the rest of the world sleeps. They can see in the dark. I find that so interesting, to be mired in reality when the rest of the world is dreaming. What does he see and what does he know that the rest of the world is missing?” ― M.J. RoseSeduction

The Daily Grail Shares From Clelland's The Messengers

Another link about Mike Clelland's new book The Messengers, from the fabuloso The Daily Grail. The comments are insightful and enjoyable...

Exclusive Excerpts from Mike Clelland's Book 'The Messengers' | The Daily Grail: We asked Mike if we could share a tiny bit of the wonder contained in the pages of The Messengers and he courteously obliged by picking up a selection of passages, which will hopefully communicate the gist of what he set out to do with his research; a personal journey for him, truth be told, whose veiled destination still seems hard to discern --unless you had the eyes of an owl, that is… (Red Pill Junkie atThe Daily Grail)

The Owls Are Not Having It

Spent twenty minutes or so writing a post linking to Robbie Graham's blog Silver Screen Saucers, where he has shared an excerpt from Mike Clelland's new book The Messengers. (A book on its way to me from the North Pole.) Suddenly, blogger went crazy, and the image of Mike's book cover wouldn't upload. Then, the whole thing disappeared. I am not suggesting that the owls, or the aliens, or any of "them" (you know, them!) are responsible. But then again...

As you see, it seems to be working fine now.

Random Sketching, and Looked What Showed Up

Didn't mean to, it just came out that way. The ubiquitous aliens-in-the-bedroom drawing. Here's the original:

And then I played around with the color enhancement thingie and this felt right (as if there is anything "right" about this realm.)

We've seen these before; these drawings of faceless, ghost like beings peering down at us while we're asleep and unaware of the presences surrounding our beds.

I've written before that I have memories of little "wolf like" (gray, short, jabbering) beings surrounding my bed when I was a child. Jim, my spouse, has had similar experiences. (The Synchronicity of Puppet Wolves: Binnall of America 2007)

In looking at this sketch, I realize these entities are not all that short -- not the typical gray alien so commercialized and now a non-event in pop culture. The gray has replaced the little green man from mars as cartoon. Prevalent and used to promote all manners of entertainment. Yet there is one little guy (that's how I think of him, without thinking of him…)

What does all this mean? I'm not to say. I don't know. This not knowing annoys some. As if, because I've had these experiences, I should somehow know. I wish to hell I did know. But I'm not a prophet. I have some theories that are in constant stages of movement. A dance, and all performers come together in one beautiful display but abruptly break apart, flowing back into an alleged chaos. I continue to research and speculate and explore with others their experiences, but I don't know. I guess. I dream. I draw.  I manipulate the memories, hoping to evoke some truths out of what's hidden inside.

New Book: Jack Brewer's 'The Greys Have Been Framed'

Jack Brewer of The UFO Trail, has published a book: The Greys Have Been Framed. I am looking forward to reading this. Below is a description of the book, in Jack's own words:

The UFO Trail: 'The Greys Have Been Framed' Published: 'The Greys Have Been Framed: Exploitation in the UFO Community' explores the ways deception, sensationalism and questionable ethics characterize the UFO genre and distort public perception of the UFO phenomenon. With interviews and insights from James Carrion, Leah Haley, Dr. Tyler Kokjohn, Simone Mendez, Carol Rainey, Emma Woods and others, the manipulation of ufology as perpetrated by suspect individuals and the intelligence community is documented. The circumstances, existing from the very outset of the modern day UFO phenomenon, prove relevant whatever opinion one may hold on the mystery of UFOs and their alleged occupants. (Jack Brewer)
I also like this:

Basically, I think the greys have been framed. That doesn't have to mean there is nothing of interest under the sun, but I am indeed suggesting that ufology, by and large, has not taught us much about it. People have been hurt in the process. They've also been misled. Lots and lots of them. I think that deserves its share of attention, at least in proportion to the continuing parade of self-described investigators who chronically assert increasingly wild speculation as fact while consequences are enabled and ignored.  (Jack Brewer)

But visit Jack's blog and read the piece in its entirety. And if you can, buy the book! It's available on Amazon.

The Kubrick-I-Filmed-Fake-Moon-Landing Hoax; But Wait, There's More

When I first came across the interview with director Stanley Kubrick, admitting he filmed fake moon landing footage, I said to myself "Feh," and moved on. Clearly a hoax, and I didn't bother watching the whole thing. (I also remember that something very similar came across my way a couple of years ago. Not the first Kubrick-filmed-fake-moon-landing stuff.) I thought that was the end of my interest in this -- why give time to the clown shoes who hoax such things?

Then last night, I listened to host Jimmy Church, who was filling in for George Noory, and guest Jay Weidner. Of course the interview with "Stanley Kubrick" stand-in actor was a hoax. But that's not the end of things. As always in the multi-layered chaotic quilt of the anomalous, there's more.

On the face of it, the interview is a hoax, and anyone not much interested in this stuff will probably respond with a shrug and a nod in agreement that "this proves those we-never-landed-on-the-moon folks are not just conspiracy nuts; they're crazy." And maybe that was the intended message the person or people behind the faked interview meant to give.

Joe Weidner's YouTube vid from 2012

But, according to Weidner, the same day this hoax went viral, other You Tube snips went viral, which pointed out the obvious errors in the hoax. Two contradictory hoax/not a hoax in the same day. Movie promotion? Could be, maybe… if so, that doesn't' answer much. Think Hollywood vs. The Aliens (Bruce Rux.)

Meanwhile, Weidner discussed the plethora of clues in Kubrick's films that point to his involvement in filming footage of astronauts on the moon.

I don't know what to think regarding us going to the moon or not. I feel a bit ridiculous acknowledging that maybe, we did not. The evidence is intriguing. On the other hand, we did. On the other hand, why'd isn't we go back -- and why hasn't anyone else?

At this point, the question of whether we went to the moon or not is almost moot. What's truly an eye opener is the fact that the question of Kubrick's involvement (or non-involvement) demonstrates, once again, the layers upon layers of disinformation put out by many players, which are then perpetuated by the participants -- often unaware they're involved at all --  in the play.

Cousins of the Grays - Ryan Sprague's "Hidden Auditorium" - JimHarold.com

I like the following by Ryan Sprague on the grays -- and the entities that seem to have echoes of the grays, even though they may or may not be related. This is something that's lurked in the back of my mind for some time, and suggests that there is some sort of "super spectrum" (as John Keel wrote about) that shares space with all of the weird. Whatever the connection, if any, very interesting:

Cousins of the Grays - Ryan Sprague's "Hidden Auditorium" - JimHarold.com: But what many may not be aware of is that both small and tall gray beings have also been reported in the world of cryptids, monsters, and mythical beasts, enigmatically breaking the myth that we may be dealing strictly with extraterrestrials. I began a search for stories of gray creatures that seemed to bare striking resemblances to the grays, yet held their own lore in the most mysterious of ways. (Ryan Sprague)

Dr (of History) David Jacobs Exposes Himself or: Defending The Indefensible | Ripples In A Pool Of High Strangeness

Excellent video blog post from Joe Gooch at his blog Ripples in a Pool of High Strangeness about Dr. Jacobs (reminder: the "Dr." is a doctor of history, not psychology, or medicine, or social work…)  and his highly disingenuous defense of his tactics regarding Emma Woods -- which he's written about on his site "Emma Woods The Real Story."

"They Live" Synchronicity

Awhile back, I posted that I had recommended the book

Hunt for the Skinwalker: Science Confronts the Unexplained at a Remote Ranch in Utah

by Colm A Kelleher and George Knapp to a co-worker I'll call "Joe." "Joe" told me that he bought the book -- the receipt from the sales clerk had her name on it, which was "Regan." Which of course, is my name as well.

The other day, I recommended the classic John Carpenter film They Live to Joe. I told him I think he could find it on YouTube, or anyway, on-line. He told me today that he was going to search for the movie on-line, but turned out, it was airing on television!

(By the way, Joe loved the movie.)

David Jacobs' Focus on the Female

So, we know about the sleazy (and paranoid) research methods of David Jacobs. Implanting the suggestion into Emma Woods' hypnotized mind that she has multiple personality disorder, asking her to send him her unwashed panties,  telling her to wear a chastity belt… wow. And still, people think he's worthy of respect and depth of consideration in things UFOgical.

What of the male witnesses who have sought out David Jacobs? Has Jacobs asked or suggested that male UFO "experiencers" do the following?:

  • Have you ejaculated during UFO and or alien experiences?
  • If so, please send me the unwashed sheets, boxers or briefs.
  • Consider the use of an erection suppressant in order to thwart the intentions of aliens and their hybrids.
  • You are under a deep trance now… good. Relax, relax. Now, I am going to suggest you have multiple personality disorder. When you awake, you will behave as if you do indeed, have this disorder.
  • Your insistence and persistence of finding answers, of combing through taped sessions, of presenting your personal experiences, is indicative of an hysterical male. Please get a grip. If need be, there are several anti-anxiety and anti-depressants that can be prescribed.
  • Oh, you're already on medication? Good, good. That proves you are unstable.
  • Stop posting about your experiences. They are now my experiences. I'm the researcher.
  • You have used a pseudonym on-line in order to protect your family, your job, and yourself? Those actions prove that you are not to be trusted.
  • I've asked you to not share what I've thought. Since you have --- which demonstrates a willful defiance of my authority -- you are, again, not to be trusted.

From Jeremy Vaeni:After 5 Years, David Jacobs Almost Leaves Me Speechless

This from Jeremy Vaeni at his blog JayVay, on Jacobs:

After 5 Years, David Jacobs Almost Leaves Me Speechless | JayVay: Again, he thinks this is his defense. He’s. Not. All. There. Folks. He wants to make this about Emma, “diagnose” her with mental illness, and claim she took him out of context. You would have to be mentally deranged to buy it, defend it, and not want to get him help. (Jeremy Vaeni)
Yep.

(See post below linking to Paul Kimball's comments on the misogyny directed at Emma Woods.)

For those out there in UFO Land who might say things such as: "Let it go already," "This is such old news," "We don't really know the whole story," I say, get the space brother dust out of your eyes and listen, pay attention, and think.

Because something is "old news" does not alleviate responsibility or absolve one of unetchial behavior.

We never, ever, know the whole story of anything. Including our own. Some things remain obvious, clear as day, brilliant as the most magical crystal diamond from the inner rings of Saturn, that one does not need to know the "whole story."

If that isn't, still, a big loud blip on your radar, then you're hopeless.

Paul Kimball: Ufology and Misogyny

Clear and exactly so comments on misogyny in UFO Land, and the sexist reactions to Emma Woods in particular. Short but very bitter sweet:

The Other Side of Truth: Ufology and Misogyny: Every now and then someone writes a well-meaning blog post or article about the problems with ufology, and how to fix them. Virtually none of those articles mention the misogyny that permeates ufology, and which represents one of the biggest and most pernicious problems with the ufological subculture. (Paul Kimball, The Other Side of Truth)
