New Addition to McMinnville UFO Fest

This just in: Just Added to the 14th Annual McMenamins UFO Festival:
Special Edition: A Forum on the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure

Saturday, May 18 * 12:30 p.m. * Free * All ages welcome
As part of McMenamins 14th Annual UFO Festival (McMinnville, Ore.)

What:
At the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure (April 29–May 3, 2013, Washington, D.C.), 40 members of the military and witnesses from the scientific and governmental communities from 10 nations gave testimony to five former members of the United States House of Representatives and one former member of the United States Senate to discuss evidence of a possible extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race.
Three of those who testified are featured speakers at this weekend’s McMenamins 14th Annual UFO Festival (Fri. and Sat., May 17 & 18). Linda Moulton Howe, Nick Pope and Peter Davenport were on site in our nation’s capital to contribute their expert testimonies to a bipartisan Citizen Hearing Committee membership that included former Senator Mike Gravel (D/Lib.-Ak.); former Congresswomen Lynn Woolsey (D-Ca.), Carolyn Kilpatrick (D-Mich.) and Oregon’s own Darlene Hooley (D-Ore.) and former Congressmen Roscoe Bartlett (R-Md.) and Merrill Cook (R-Ut.). A fourth UFO Festival speaker, George Knapp, reported on the proceedings on behalf of news station KLAS-TV (Las Vegas, Nev).
At this newly added UFO forum, hear their impressions, perspectives and opinions of the hearings and what it all may mean for government disclosure moving forward. The event is free and no ticket is necessary to attend. See ufofest.com for the 2013 schedule of events, speaker bios, ticketed programming, past speakers, photos, history and more.
When:
On Saturday, May 18, at 12:30 p.m., Moulton
Howe, Pope, Knapp and Davenport will present to the UFO Fest audience their opinions and perspectives about the hearings:  new information disclosed and how the hearings may (or may not) shape future discussion on the existence of extraterrestrials. This is an exclusive opportunity to hear first-hand accounts about the proceedings and to ask the presenters your questions about the perceived outcomes, mass media’s nearly non-existent coverage of the proceedings and more.

Where:
The event will take place at McMinnville Community Center (600 NE Evans St., two blocks from McMenamins Hotel Oregon), following our 10 a.m. ticketed UFO Festival presentations by Jim Sparks and George Knapp. No additional ticket is necessary to attend this forum. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Why:
McMenamins Hotel Oregon is home to the quirky yet educational UFO Festival, now in its 14th year and the second-largest alien-related festival in the nation. The event began as a way to honor the 1950 Trent UFO sighting in which two local citizens witnessed and photographed an unknown craft hovering in the sky above, said to be some of the most credible images of UFOs to date. More than 5,000 visitors convened in downtown McMinnville for the 2012 festival and parade.
