International Air Space and the Black Triangles
In past articles on the black triangles, I've often made the comment about the fact the triangles appear all over the world, which means they appear in international air space. I've stated that this is risky; the abrupt appearance of an unknown craft in another country's air space seems dangerous. But, if we don't know who the triangles belong to, if they're man made or alien, and so on, the issue is probably moot. However, I still assumed that the U.S. (assuming the triangles are ours) flying into the air space of other countries was a bad thing, unless of course that air space was part of NATO and so on.
No one's challenged me on my assumption or has bothered to set me straight. (Which means no one's reading what I write, :) But in talking with someone the other day who's interested in history and military stuff, I was told that at certain heights, craft flies into air space all the time. And if the craft is astoundingly fast, as the triangles appear to be, and their origin is unknown (presumably) no harm can come to either craft or nation. If a black triangle appears in China, who would China respond to? Not enough time or data to analyze to determine where it came from.
This is all very nuts and bolts and it's an area I am not at all familiar with or even too interested in -- I'm not an aviation maven or military buff -- but it is important to have some sense of these kinds of things to help us in our studies of UFOs.
So far, the triangles remain true UFOs. They may very well be man made, but we don't know that, not yet. Even if they are man made, there are a lot of mysteries surrounding the triangles. One being: are the triangles based on alien technology? If not, it is still an incredible creation; these triangles are huge and incredibly fast, even downright spooky. What is their purpose? They've been around for decades, why the continued secrecy?
If the triangles are man made (either the U.S. or some other nation) and are flying in the skies of the world, as they clearly are, are they doing so with the complicity of other governments? Or is there just one, or a very few, governments having their way with the rest of the world? In this scenario, we hardly need aliens here, we seem to be doing a good enough job on our own involving issues of deceit, subversion, secrecy, disinformation, and agendas.
My strong interest in the triangles is rooted in my own personal sighting. Which really wasn't very dramatic, given the experiences of so many other witnesses to the triangles. An example is the sighting of the Bale brothers from Oregon, who saw a triangle while camping in Idaho.
The triangle sightings continue, and have been occurring for so long, I think that for some researchers it's become almost a boring topic. Probably because of my own sighting, and my insatiable curiosity when it comes to unsolved fringe mysteries, I remain intrigued by the triangles. Alien or man made, almost doesn't matter, because the phenomena of the triangles is so weird (decades long event, fantastic speeds and maneuvers, odd effects upon witnesses, global appearances, secrecy, etc.) the topic stands on its own as a fringe object of study.

Around the Orb
Well, I like the new show The Fringe. I watched it again tonight with Jim, he liked it as well. I could have sworn there were some edited scenes; some bits that were not in the first showing, different cuts, etc. Nothing that affects the story line, very minor stuff. Either that or my brain is slipping. Speaking of slipping brains, the line is "Excellent! Let's make some LSD" (see post below.) Other shows I'm looking forward to: 24, Eleventh Hour, the one starring Christian Slater who has two minds, or two personalities, or something (Google wasn't much help) Torchwood,Eureka, Monster Quest, UFO Hunters, and I hate to admit it, Paranormal State -- I see a theme here.
Look for my new Trickster's Realm on Binnall of America sometime tomorrow. The article is about energy, disclosure and aliens and I ask: what connection?
Richard M. Dolan has a fascinating review of The High Strangeness of Dimensions, Densities, and the Process of Alien Abduction by Laura Knight-Jadczyk,on UFO Digest, except, page 3 seems to be missing. Every time I click on it it takes me back to page 2. Anyone out there experience this? This is a book I must read, because of what Dolan has to say. He's one of the few researchers out there that I truly respect. Friedman is another, and of course there are others. I have a few qualms about Knight-Jadczyk in a political context, but that's another issue entirely, and because of Dolan's insights, I'm putting those aside and looking forward to reading her book.

Blogger has a new gadget; you can see who's "following" you, so of course I put that up on some of my blogs. I'll get around to having it up on all of them soon.
Happy Kudos to me; Vintage U.F.O. made it to the top 100 most interesting history blogs, of all things, and my blog Mothman Flutterings was recently a Red Orbit hot blog of the day.

And, I have a new blog. I couldn't help it, blame Sarah Palin, not me. Her blood lust and her perception of animals, which is dismal to say the least, inspired me. So visit the blog: tëme (an animal blog)
http://temeanimal.blogspot.com/
As always, there is so much interesting stuff out there about UFOs and the esoteric world it's impossible to keep up with them all or comment on them. But visit the links on my blogs, and that'll take you to other places, and then other places . . .
Despite what some stuffed UFO shirts think, it is all good, even the bad.

Vaeni On Dolan
In the April (2008) issue of UFO Magazine, contributor Jeremy Vaeni has an article about Richard Dolan: Praise for Dickie Dolan. In giving kudos to Dolan for his research, Vaeni also says:
Vaeni says what should be obvious, but to my constant surprise, isn't to many: that we don't know what the aliens are, are from or are up to, so any pronouncements about that are only speculation. Nothing wrong with speculation -- we need specuatlion -- as long as we remember that's all it is. Instead of asking, (or telling) others what we know about UFOs and aliens, we should ask, Vaeni suggests:"What do we know about us?"
Vaeni has been "crying this" for years, giving Dolan credit for also understanding this:
I like it!

He isn't all about compiling government documents -not that that's an easy task or one I'm taking lightly. I'm saying he's got more to his repertoire, and it's about damn time someone with genuine intellect, genuine curiosity, and the ability to sift through new data just sat down and considered everything anew.

If anyone is qualified to ponder it, it's him. Why? Because he doesn't have his answer and he's not looking for it. He's looking, period. (italics mine.)
I like it!

Reading Dolan
Jim on the left, Richard Dolan on the right
“What kind of crazy monkey wrench shit is going on here??!!”
Said my spouse, Jim, as he's reading Richard Dolan's UFO's and The National Security State
Jim was familiar with the book,(but hadn't read it, til now) and, as is usual, gets most of his UFO book info from me like this:
Me: (reading something or another) "Holy shit! Jim, listen to this!"
Jim: (as he's painting or watching the game) "Wow, I have to read that book when you're done!"
After our visit to McMinnville for the UFO Fest, Jim settled in to read Dolan's book for the first time. He can't put it down. I love it.

How Will We Ever Know If It´s "Full" Disclosure?
I wrote this the other day; it's up at American Chronicle. After hearing Richard Dolan's presentation last night, I've been thinking about this more. There's always the possibility of disclosure by "them," -- the aliens, or whatever/whoever they are. Open, full disclosure, not the covert, one on one disclosures that have been taking place. This isn't the final response to the idea of disclosure, or addresses all of it. It's just one angle into what really is a complex idea, with many potential ramifications.
How Will We Ever Know If It´s "Full" Disclosure?
The hopes for full disclosure about UFOs will remain forever unfulfilled.
There are earnest efforts by many, pushing for disclosure, but that day when the government reveals all will never come. As I´ve said many times, there are a few reasons for this opinion. One, the elusive, covert nature of the phenomena is an innate part of the phenomena.
One aspect of this dance (close, far, in your face, jump back, hide, blatantly expose itself with lights and beams and beings. . .) is its oppositional position alongside the infrastructure. Science, media, academia, governments, institutionalized religions, will never "take UFOs seriously." They´re not set up for that. They can´t.
The UFO phenomena experiences flaps not only in the UFOs themselves, like sightings and encounters, but in pop culture´s and societies awareness. From the popularity of TV shows on UFOS to governments releasing some of their files on UFOs, and witnesses (often decades later) coming forward, these things happen in waves. So it often looks like "ah, the big moment is sure to come any minute now!"
No, it isn't.
One thing that always surprises me about the hopes for disclosures is the acceptance that whatever government, via whatever agency, is releasing everything it knows. I highly suspect that for every bunch of stuff released by MOD, or the FBI, or the French government, the Russian government, etc. there are tons of papers yet to be released. Or redacted. Or burned, shredded, conveniently "lost," and so on.
How do we know that what is released publicly is the real thing? Just because they say so? What´s the story behind the little we´re allowed to see?
Efforts for disclosure are well meaning, and while I don't think it´s going to change anything, it can´t hurt. We have learned some things, and that´s good.
Just be aware that we´re never getting the whole story, and we never will. There isn´t some global plan among the governments of the world to simultaneously release all it knows on UFOs.
This jaded view of disclosure doesn't mean I´m anti-conspiracy. The documented history of governments mind control programs, debunking campaigns, weapons and psy-ops makes it quite clear that we are targets to be used at their whim. This is certainly as scary as aliens. A mass landing, caught on tape, aired on CNN? Sure. But are they aliens, or some kind of staged by humans event? The MILAB (military abductions) scenario is still considered pretty paranoid by many within the UFO field; as long as we hold the view that governments wouldn´t do things like this, we´ll remain naive.
Whenever new information is released, we need to consider that we´re only getting a little bit of the story; that there is very likely much more to be learned. For every piece of information we get, there are many pieces left behind. And for every document allowed to enter the public arena, we have to look at it with some skepticism. Just because they say it´s so, doesn´t mean it´s so.
