Shameless Self Promotion Time: Artist James Rich
Just promoting the blog; this time, it isn't my blog, it's my husband's, James Rich, artist. Nothing to do with UFOs, but then again, some of his work is very out there, like his "Galactic Series."
Alfred Lehmberg: Risking Mammons Wrath
Alfred has another great entry at the UFO Magazine site: Risking Mammons Wrath.
But also:
And while out of context, that should give you an idea!
My message is hard edged enough — don't dare to call it "quaint." It doesn't take the word of what the privileged calls a "saint." It won't tremble for the *mighty*, then go all weak and faint. It's alone its own creation, but sans hubristic paint.
But also:
...And where do _I_ get off, eh? The answer to that is: "...where I will"!
And while out of context, that should give you an idea!

On Women's Paranormal League Tonight
So try and listen if you can; it will be fun. I had a good time about a year ago when I was a guest on Amy's show, and I'm sure it will be just as fun this time. 5:00 p.m. Pacific time on Blog Talk radio.

More Cloud Madness
Recent article from Wired Science on noctilucent clouds: Mysterious, Glowing Clouds Appear Across America’s Night Skies. And while these clouds may be breathtaking, they might be literally breath taking, meaning, the cause for these eerie clouds has to do with pollution and global warming:
The clouds might be beautiful, but they could portend global changes caused by global warming. Noctilucent clouds are a fundamentally new phenomenon in the temperate mid-latitude sky, and it’s not clear why they’ve migrated down from the poles. Or why, over the last 25 years, more of them are appearing in the polar regions, too, and shining more brightly.
“That’s a real concern and question,” said James Russell, an atmospheric scientist at Hampton University and the principal investigator of an ongoing NASA satellite mission to study the clouds. “Why are they getting more numerous? Why are they getting brighter? Why are they appearing at lower latitudes?”
Nobody knows for sure, but most of the answers seem to point to human-caused global atmospheric change.

Local News On Chemtrails
Seattle's KIRO News aired this brief clip on an "X" chemtrail being sprayed in the area. They don't use the word "chemtrail" but imply that they weren't contrails. Reporters made some calls to FAA, etc. who all denied knowing anything about anything. Hat tip to the Oregon Chemtrails forum on Yahoo.

Missing Time in "The Human Mediumship of the UFO Phenomenon"
Bruce of Intangible Materiality writes about our orientation to time and place and wonders if the term "missing time" might be inaccurate. As usual Bruce writes so damn eloquently, and, as usual after reading him I say to myself "I'll just stop now..." The Human Mediumship of the UFO Phenomenon.
I've had two episodes of missing time, which means that I don't remember what happened during a certain period of time. One was in direct relation to a UFO event; the other very likely so; vague memories and the clearer memory of another witness. Both episodes had two witnesses; myself and my husband. Since we call it "missing time" that naturally implies, accurately, that we don't remember what happened. But really, it isn't missing --- something continued to occur, we just don't remember what. A seemingly obvious nit picky detail, but when you shift perspective a bit and look at it that way, it helps. Hey, anything that works in this arena, I'll try it. So now the question is of course, what happened -- what don't I remember? Also; why have missing time/amnesia in the first place? Why dont' we call it "amnesia" instead of "missing time?" We're focused on the missing time part; not the missing memory part. The next question is; what mechanism, or who, created the missing time/amnesia, and why?

"Mystical Landscapes"

I haven't really painted since last year, and it feels good to be doing so again. This has nothing to do with UFOs or the paranormal, although some of my painting subjects are UFO-paranormal related. These are just semi-abstracty, impressionist type landscapes; Jim calls them my "mystical paintings." There's some glare on one, and I haven't figured out yet how to get the date stamp off (I'm a dork) which is wrong anyway. So far they're untitled but both are inspired by the Oregon coast.

Torchwood, Finally!

The good news is that the British sci-fi drama Torchwood is coming back; it'll air on BBC America, July 20th. The very bad news is, it's only a 5 episode mini-series that will air on consecutive nights, and no word on Torchwood returning after this. For more information go to the BBC America Torchwood page.

Combustible Edison: Vertigo and Cafe Esoterica
I have this on the soundtrack for the movie Four Rooms with Tim Roth, a great movie, great soundtrack. I love this piece, and out of curiosity, not really expecting to find it, I searched YouTube, and here it is. What does this have to do with anything esoteric? Not much, except it's one of the music bits I'm considering using for Cafe Esoterica. After I figure out how the hell I'm going to get that all working, lol. Sometime this summer, that's all I know for now.
And just for fun, here's another clip from Combustible Edison. I'm thinking of this one too. I love this group!

Three Strange Beings Near Crop Circle
I love the following report from the Phantoms and Monsters blog:
Three Strange Beings Reported at Crop Circle - Silbury Hill, Wiltshire. I think this is the first time actual entities -- if they are entities of course -- have been reported near crop circles. The story reminds me of the space brother type beings from the 1950s and 60s. Thanks to Lesley at The Debris Field for the link.

On Frame 352: Silver Suited Aliens vs. Bigfoot
A recap of a "alien vs. Bigfoot" belief paradigm, inspired by last night's Monster Quest episode, on my Bigfoot blog Frame 352.
