Sure enough, in walks a body wearing an oversized tee shirt with a cartoon figure of a human but that's morphing into an owl -- a sort of human/hybrid owl figure. Just a reminder, I guess, :)
Also, last night, I had an owl CROSS MY PATH. I was on my bike, riding on a quiet rural road at twilight, and a big owl flew in front of me (right to left).
Last summer i stopped counting owls I saw if they were just off in the distance. I had been seeing so many that it was absurd to try and count the ones that weren't somehow profound in their performance!
So - I started paying much closer attention if they actually CROSSED MY PATH.
Since then, they have lived up to my personal need for a more overt sign.
