Not much info with this footage of a strange glowing cloud formation in Mexico, taken in Sept 12, 2008. I couldn't find details on YouTube as to location specifics, weather conditions and so on. Some people commented they thought the cloud formations were caused by HAARP. . .

That's beautiful. Iridescent clouds are rare, and so are lenticular clouds...this is a bit of both! If HAARP did this then bring it on! :)
I too observed some iridescent clouds over Mexico city some months ago during my morning commute. The colors of this video remind me of it. I wrote about it in my blog at TDG
It was frustrating that I seemed to be the only person noticing this marvelous spectacle during rush hour. I guess white-collar workers prefer to keep on applying make up or using their phones than stick the neck out of their cars :}
RPJ, I've had the same experience involving strange clouds or formations in the sky, looking up, and watching the people around me not bother to glance up at all. I've seen people look at me, looking up, but, after noting that I'm clearly looking at something in the sky, they go back to what they're doing. They don't look up themselves!
