I'm still here, and still care. But I am having health issues; won't go into details but it involves chemo. I am optimistic and the prognosis is good. But I will probably not be posting much on this blog or any of my other blogs. Then again, I could spew forth rants about UFO/UAP Pentagon nonsense if I get bored.
Anyway, everyone out there in Saucer Land keep looking up.
Oh, and read this post by Jeremy Vaeni. I was going to say the same thing. Except not nearly as eloquently as he did.
Uri Geller's island. I am now an official citizen. Costs $1.00 and it goes to charity to help children who need surgeries. Of course, I can't stay on the island; it's very rocky and small and protected bird sanctuary. Which is very cool. And, of course, it is a UFO hot spot, and off the Scottish mainland. Ach, does my Celtic soul good.
Mentalist and medium Joe Diamond was the guest on Coast to Coast the other night. I played along with the following:
Host George Noory had Diamond guest what number between 1 and 5 he was thinking of. I thought "4" than said to myself, no, it's 3, wait, hmmm... no, it's 4. Want to say 3 but it's 4."
Sure enough, Noory was thinking of 4. Brownie point for me because Diamond said he thought 4, then 3, then back to 4. Was I picking up on Diamond's though or Noory's? Or, both.
Later, Diamond did an exercise with the listening audience. We were to see how close we could come to see what Joe Diamond was envisioning. First thing: think of a location. I immediately thought/saw "beach" but then out thought myself, because I love the beach and always want to be there; it's my favorite location. So I thought "snow." White.
Second instruction: think of a color. I thought blue; and white next to it. But blue predominantly.
Next, temperature. How does your body feel? I thought/felt cold, convinced "snow" was correct and also, I was cold, due to the blankets being off.
Then, shapes. Two simple shapes. I saw a circle, with a box type shape stuck on top of it.
Turns out Diamond's scene was: a beach, hot, circle, pyramid, blue.
Shows you how over thinking something can mess up your initial thought or vision. Overall though pretty good.
I really like the way this one turned out. These are for auction on eBay.

Dreams and Synchronicity
Both my spouse and I were close friends with someone I'll call Joe. A falling out, and hadn't had contact for a few years. This morning I told Jim: "I had a dream about 'Joe' last night." And Jim said: "That's odd, so did I."
Odd. We hadn't been talking about Joe, nothing would have triggered our dreaming minds. Well, something did obviously, but nothing conscious.
So I look up Joe on Facebook, and see that he's now a grandfather. We were also close with his children, knowing them from when they were little, to adulthood. The grandchild's name is the same name -- an unusual name -- that Jim and I were going to name our child decades ago. (I miscarried.) Another weird little oddity.

Conjure
A new book arrived today. Hoodoo Sen Moise's Working Conjure: A Guide to Hoodoo Folk Magic.
Just barely into it and I am finding it very interesting.
I've been saying it for years, as have others. UFO study has always been full of crazy, nutty, silly, slimy, hucksters, as well as racists, classists and misogynists. Always. And it still is, and always will be. It's a given.
That's not bad. Well, no, wait. It is bad of course. But that shouldn't discourage us. Call them out. Fight 'em. Show them up. And then get on with whatever it is you're exploring. Don't let the creeps in UFO Land make you give up. Just accept the fact that that is the way it is.
My husband painted this last year. He's titled it "Orange Orb." After all these decades, orange sphere in the sky still scuds along in our subconscious.

FBI and Airforce in full riot gear raid home of Area 51 YouTube | Boing Boing: On November 3, armed agents of the Air Force Office of Special Investigations and FBI raided the home of a Las Vegas man who makes a podcast about the Nevada military base known as Area 51.
Joerg Arnu, who has a podcast concerning Area 51, was dragged out of his home by Airforce and FBI agents. His girlfriend, in their Las Vegas home at the time, was also dragged out. Arnu's homes were searched, all his equipment confiscated. Why now -- Arnu had been running his podcasts and videos since 1999. Who, or what, caused this search?
On Twitter, George Knapp tweeted on the 14th that he was "gathering info for the story" which will be aired on KLAS Tuesday night, the 15th. It's now the 17th but I assume one could still access the story. I'm sure there is more to come on this from Knapp.
Regan's Planet, by Robert Silverberg, found while I was organizing my bookshelves. Published in 1964. Haven't read this one but now I have to of course. Love the cover art.
