Canada Spiral Was a Hoax . . . Er, Not. Maybe.
The hoaxer who hoaxed the Canada spiral is now retracting his hoax. Don't you love it? His retraction includes a sinister visit from someone who told him to "keep quiet" etc. Just remind yourself: "it's all part of the show, it's all part of the show..."

Western Canadain Spiral: Hoax
In yet another hoaxing of UFOs, UAPs, and Forteana, the hoaxer behind the Canada spiral has stepped forward.
While the hoaxers do what they do for their own reasons, varying from just being silly and goofing off all the way to observing the reaction to their stunts as an indicators within cultures, the hoaxers themselves are objects of such consideration by some of us in the fringe world. Looking back at ya, in other words.
Kevin Martin, a California weather man, created the clip of a spiral appearing in the skies of Western Canada. All hoaxed, and as it turns out, he's done others.
This is what I find really interesting:

Martin credits himself as part of the 9/11 hoax development, in which was and still is an "experiment" on humanity he says.Synchronicity: I was just reading my new issue of UFO Magazine, which arrived yesterday, and Lesley Gunter, in her Beyond the Dial column, discusses hoaxes and the reactions of UFO researchers to those hoaxes, which usually include outrage... I don't like hoaxes but at the same time I understand a few things. One, they're to be expected, it's the mirror reflection of what goes on within. Two, they're reminders to us be aware of gullibility, basic nuts and bolts stuff 101 (sometimes swamp gas is just swamp gas -- or someone's candle in a floating plastic bag) and so on. So I don't get so excited over hoaxes as some might.

Crop Circles: "There Should Be Joy"
My Trickster's Realm column for Binnall of America should be up sometime tomorrow, and it's about the McMinnville UFO conference. In that article I write about crop circles, among other things, and the profound and unexpected reactions I (and others) had to Colin Andrews presentation. But it doesn't begin and end there; as I comment in the Trickster's Realm article, I had another unexpected reaction to a crop circle presentation, as I wrote for Tim's site in 2008:
Crop Circles: "There Should Be Joy" In his 2012: The Return of Quetzalcoatl, Daniel Pinchbeck comments about the crop circle phenomena: the amazing and beautiful complexity, their abrupt appearances on a global scale, and how incredible it is that such intricate creations can be made, continually all over the world. Obviously it would be a global change for humanity if the circles turn out to be made by some non-human entity, whether it's earth-bound or extraterrestrial ("alien.") But even if it turns out to be utterly, 100% human, that is still incredible. The ludicrous explanation that Doug and Dave are the crop circle artists is just that: a ridiculous idea. In 1990 in England alone there were over a thousand circles; are we to believe two senior citizens made all those circles? It's so insane that anyone seriously believing that is the case is an idiot.
By saying that crop circles are "just" done by two versions of British good old boys not only marginalizes the crop circle phenomena as an anomalous, Fortean/paranormal event, but as an anything event. Human, schuman, doesn't matter. As Pinchbeck writes:
If the phenomenon was orchestrated by teams of human circle makers in different countries, it would be the largest-scaled, most significant project of anonymous land art know to the world, deserving attention and acclaim on that score. If it was not entirely created by humans, the formations would clearly be of tremendous significance, compelling a paradigm shift in our understanding of the cosmos. But if any attempt to fathom it was met with derision and disregard, dismissed from public discourse, there could be no discoveries at all.(italics mine) (Pinchbeck: p80)That's exactly it: there is no interest about crop circles, from any perspective, from the infrastructure. Art or aliens, both are suspect. The only acceptable "interest" in crop circles are the usual uber-skeptic dismissive "explanations" that serve not to explain -- certainly not enlighten -- but to put an end to such time wasting nonsense as exploring crop circles.
Sometimes in UFO and esoteric phenomena it's interesting to look at what isn't being said, or done, in terms of the experience. Crop circles, like UFOs, exist. What they are, why they are, why they're here, and who's responsible for their existence; those are the questions. Staying stuck in the first question: do they exist? guarantees one never moves on to a true journey of exploration; they're too stuck in the endless loop of the nonsensical question: "do they exist?" But with crop circles, it's pretty stupid for anyone, even the pathological skepti-bunkie crowd, to deny they exist. So the silly explanations are issued: Doug and Daves, mating hedgehogs, etc. End of story. No need to go on that journey, for there is no journey.
It isn't the end of the story. As Pinchbeck commented, it's fantastic either way; human or other. Suppose the crop circles are all made by just humans; have you seen these things? The artistry is magnificent. That humans can come together, work together, plan these consciousness shifting designs and create them merits a lot more than a dismissive "so what?"
Of course the truth is, regardless of who's responsible for these crop designs, all kinds of high strangeness surrounds the phenomena. Many have reported thinking about, or talking to a friend in the middle of a field, of a specific location or symbol concerning circles, only to discover the exact design in that location the next day. Strange lights have been seen zipping around above fields during formations. Human crop circle artists have reported seeing strange lights and the appearance by some unseen force of circles as they themselves were "hoaxing" their own circles. Anomalous electrical effects, reports of nausea, high pitched sounds; all kinds of weird things that have been documented many times over by crop circles researchers.
Then there's the darker side: the conspiracy angle. Helicopters chasing off witnesses and investigators, military involvement, threats, harassment. Like the UFO phenomena, if there's no there there, why would government or military factions be so heavy handed towards the citizens, and so interested in something that doesn't exist, or that is "just created by hoaxers?"
But, like other esoteric and UFO events, sometimes the mundane explanations are more far out than the so-called far out ones. It is fantastic and deserving of our attention if the circles are "just" man made, but I don't think they are. Much to my own surprise, I've been coming around for awhile now to the idea that the circles are made by a non-human intelligence after all.
Star Dreams
Robert L. Nichol, creator of the crop circle film Star Dreams, was a presenter at the McMinnville UFO Fest in 2008. I wasn't interested in attending the screening of this film. I decided it was "New Agey" crap I before I'd seen it and thought the whole thing was silly. I went anyway, mainly because I paid for it and wanted my fair share of festival goodies, and was really full of myself. I believed myself to be above such silly feel good, naive, love and hug bullshit. I was wrong.
To my surprise, I was deeply moved by the movie. I had tears in my eyes; tears because I had been emotionally tweaked, and understood that something profound is behind the crop circles. I often say that the circles are caused by us, but not in the way we think. Some shadow government agency is creating the circles from space to play with our heads, as well as to practice their technology. Possibly a variation of Project Blue Beam. I never put anything sinister past any government. (I also think much of the UFO phenomena is staged and planted by government entities.)
However, when it comes to governments and secret experiments done at our expense, the concept is a given. And while it's a given, it isn't the last word in weird phenomena; it's only a part of it.
So, Star Dreams. I watched the film again for this column, and had the same profound emotional response. I find myself moving towards the opinion that sentient energy is intentionally creating the circles with a very specific focus and intent: concrete, direct communication with us, for us. The circles are mandalas. And what are mandalas, but designs specifically made to shift energy within us. As many of the crop circle researchers and witnesses in Star Dreams have experienced, intense changes in energy take place when in the proximity of circles. Even when not in physical contact, shifts can be felt -- as I and others have experienced just by viewing them via film or looking at images.
As one woman and witness (Polly Larson) in the film said, mirroring Pinchbeck's comment at the beginning of this piece:
"Something so enormous is happening in the world -- and it's treated so badly."Crop circle researcher Lucy Pringle remarks in the film that "there should be joy" concerning the circles. Instead, as with all things of this nature, be it UFOs, non-mainstream religious experiences such as Marian apparitions, and so on, there is great marginalization, and many are embarrassed by their "joy" experienced in anti-structural phenomena.
And, a last thing: as we well know, synchronicity is our friend. Taking a break from working on this piece, I go on-line to read up on all the usual Fortean places, and find this announcement on the Coast to Coast site about Sunday night's guest:

Update on Another Sky Spiral
Update: As loathe as I am to give any positive nods towards the JREF forum, this thread is interesting... for what it's worth.
Remember the blue Norway spiral that appeared in the skies in December? That one was said to be a Russian missile. Now this spiral, photographed by Steven Murray, is not quite as pretty or dramatic as the Norway spiral, (though it's still pretty dramatic!) appears in the skies of Western Canada.
Still, the Canadian spiral seems similar to the Norway one. The missile theory doesn't seem to hold up, as is pointed out in the Weather Space article cited here:

The only known areas to launch on the Western coast are the Vandenberg Air Force Base and Alaskan areas. Vandenberg confirms no launches and Kodiak Island has to be ruled out due to the direction of travel (from the west).According to Murray, he head a loud boom in the sky as well.
The photographs show a very similar shape and mysterious object off the coast of Canada. The object is not a missile as one photograph from the beach has the trajectory curving up! What is it?

Rense site down?
I'm not a fan of Jeff Rense, but I happily use his site for all kinds of info. Since last night, I've noticed that the site seems to be down; I can't get to it at all. Just wondering if it's just me, or them, or what. I do know that Rense has said his site has been under attack and hacked in the past -- no doubt by Zionist Jew Illuminati Lesbian Pinkos.

Interstellar Housewife on Colin Andrews
I've been processing what to write about Colin Andrews presentation, and, while I've commented here and there on aspects of the McMinnville conference overall, including some of Colin Andrews presentation, it isn't enough. Erik and Deirdre have each written moving accounts of their experiences listening to Andrews. While certainly their own experiences, I can say that they parallel mine in many ways.
Which is incredible, I think. We were all deeply affected by the presentation, and agreed with each other afterwards how intense it was, but we didn't talk specifics. Even Jim and I were kind of speechless afterwards; agreed that Andrews was beautiful and profound, but we couldn't seem to talk about it for a bit. Among other things, I am blown away by the shared intensity we all felt; myself, Jim, Erik and Deirdre.
Since at this moment the so-called reality layer of every day living takes the lead (as in, have to haul myself off to work) my response to Colin Andrews talk will have to wait. But please read Deirdre's account here.

"Fuck what you think - this is about me and my life."That's from Deirdre of Interstellar Housewife. I love it.

Erik Stitt of Contact on Colin Andrews
Erik at Contact has written a beautifully stated piece on Colin Andrews' presentation at the recent McMinnville conference. As I commented at Erik's blog, I simply haven't found the words yet to say what I want to say about that; but thankfully, Erik has, and hopefully his piece will give you some idea of the power, the profound nature, of Andrews presentation.
Erik comments on "the sound" -- the sounds of trills, chirps, electronic-metallic insect type sounds -- that affected me both emotionally as well as physically:
I had mentioned in my post Mini Report From McMinnville: Chirps, Trills and Wasps, for UFOMystic how "the sound" as Erik refers to it, affected me:
More to come on this, it is too important not to continue.

Erik comments on "the sound" -- the sounds of trills, chirps, electronic-metallic insect type sounds -- that affected me both emotionally as well as physically:
I felt the energy then as I feel it now. The catalysts were many and plentiful. Colin’s voice, the images he presented on the large screen and The Sound…The Sound.
The Sound took me to 1972 in my home in Clovis, California. It took me to the mind of a five year old boy lying on top of the covers of his bed in his racecar jammies. Lying with his hands laid out to his sides, palms up as he intuitively closed his eyes and simply had one wish. He wanted to fly. And fly he did!
I will never forget the look on my mother’s face the following morning as I told her,
“I saw you watching TV last night, Mommy. I flew over your head and saw you watching that Bonanza Cowboy Show on the TV.”
I had mentioned in my post Mini Report From McMinnville: Chirps, Trills and Wasps, for UFOMystic how "the sound" as Erik refers to it, affected me:
Earlier in the presentation, Andrews played recordings taken in crop circles, and one taken in a tree. I had an immediate physical feeling while hearing one sound; it was under the skin, as if I were vibrating. During one of these recordings I literally could feel myself vibrating. I felt as if I were about to leave my body, I was having the same feeling I have when I have an OOBE. Jim didn’t have that same physical feeling, but he did have a strong emotional response:
“The sound gave me the impression there’s something underlying, primordial — some sound like something you’ve heard all the time, something that’s been there sublimely all along.”There is so much here (including a bit of synchronicity involving a wasp, as I wrote in the above mentioned post) that clearly affected Erik, as well as myself and I know I can speak for Jim on this as well.
More to come on this, it is too important not to continue.

Military Intelligence: On the Fringes of Experiences
Much to process about the recent McMinnville UFO conference in Oregon, Colin Andrew's astounding and profound presentation in particular. (On that more to come.)
All the presentations were worth attending. Each of the presenters, Travis Walton, James Clarkson, and Colin Andrews, all had important things to share. And while very different from each other, there was a shared theme in all of their information. This shared theme extended from the official UFO conference speakers to individuals I spoke with also attending the conference. And that is the presence of military intelligence.
Travis Walton spoke on his personal abduction experience, of which we've all heard many times. But some information was new, at least to me, regarding the presence of human, or human looking beings that were on the craft, and the witness to what Walton saw who had some sort of connection to military intelligence.
James Clarkson's presentation on June Crain (Tell My Story) ... well, military intelligence is all over the place on that one.
And Colin Andrews (a most amazing presentation) has had his own dealings with military intelligence and shadowy agents both in the UK and the U.S., as has been mentioned on-line in the past. Andrews again made reference to the presence of military intelligence, and authorities of various natures, in his presentation. So much more to say on this last presentation, and that's for a future article, but this connection with human, military/government agencies goes way back; as Andrews shared, these profound and life changing experiences began when he was a child, during which he had contact with human soldiers within the context of high strangeness indeed. His father was also a military man; more military connections.
In private conversations with different individuals I spoke with at the conference, there was the hint of a military connection; sometimes in the background, sometimes more overt. One man was in the military himself, and had seen and experienced very strange things in Area 51. Others had different experiences, but in all, someone in the witnesses arena of experience was in the military or law enforcement. Either overtly, (actively in the Army or Navy, or sometimes a police officer, etc.) or covertly (can't talk about it, just allusions to "military intelligence," kind of thing.)
The presence of the "Military Intelligence," covert authorities affiliated with law is active on different levels:
Some might suggest this is just statistics, after all, how many of us know people who are either in the military, or a cop, etc.? Well, as we know, when it comes to UFOs and all its related tendrils of on the fringe experience, there are no coincidences. Add that to the context and history of UFO activity since at least WWII, it becomes clear that what we loosely call "military intelligence" is all around this phenomena. Either by a personal connection (contactees and witnesses being ex-military or law enforcement themselves, or some kind of family connection) or because of outside interest from military intelligence, the connections are not due to statistical coincidences, but intentional complicity and manipulation.
The question is, why are military and related factions so damn interested in UFO and anomalous experiences? Why are they so interested in controlling and obscuring those experiences?

Is 'Avatar" A Raelian Recruiting Message?
This is too deliscious; following this thread down the rabbit hole from Rense.com, about the Raelians, on Henry Makow's Save the Males site by Steve Thomas. I was going to write an article about this but decided, sigh, I just don't have the energy. Is "Avatar" Raelian Cult Indoctrination? That says it all, doesn't it?

The Cockroach That Wouldn't Die
Barf Stew picks up on Jason Offutt's post about a giant bug, which I commented on the other day. The story reminded me of an urban legend I heard when I was in my late teens, early twenties. I was living in L.A. The story was told to me with all seriousness, most of us believed it at the time, including me! The story:
Scientists at UCLA were studying pesticides. Cockroaches taking over L.A. was a concern. So they had a cockroach the literal size of a poodle; kept in a glass cage. Success! Now they could breed the giant cockroaches to test their cockroach killing inventions. But no matter how much of the stuff they sprayed this poodle sized bug with, it wouldn't die. Finally, worried that the cockroach would escape, the scientists had to resort to shooting the thing with a gun.
Dark Speculations; Psy Ops Memes?
When I first read the by now infamous Stephen Hawkings comment on alien life, my first thought was "Hmm, wonder if this is some psy ops thing?" Then immediately felt silly for being so paranoid, as I usually do when I have these paranoid, conspiracy tinged responses to seemingly mundane things that pop up in the culture stream.
Stephen Hawkings, brilliant man, which no one argues, doesn't think much about UFOs or those that "believe in" them. In fact, he's said of those that take the subject seriously:
That view didn't stop Hawkings from speculating on aliens and their motivations. Those motivations are dark ones; attributing the worst of human behaviors onto an advanced alien life form, Hawkings speculated that a violent scenario would take place:
The timing of the thing is interesting, other recent news items concerning space and thinking seriously about "the other" coincide to bring us an interesting picture. One illustration: Nobel prize winner Dr. Brian Josephson was recently invited to participate in the Towler conference on quantum physics. Then he was quickly disinvited. Greg Taylor at The Daily Grail shared the dis-invite Josephson received from the Towler institute:
So a conference on QM can't allow for a Nobel Prize winning collegue if he thinks too far outside that box.
But back to Hawkings and psy-ops. This from UFO-Blogger:
Robert Bigelow, the mysterious wealthy would be controller of the paranormal and UFOs, has now become the FAA's official go to source for pilots to report UFO sightings. Furthermore, it's a strange partnership with MUFON. When there is wealth, big business, and an obsession, well. . .industry and government are no strangers. Pilots now are encouraged to report UFO sightings to Bigelow's private sector organization, called BAASS. (Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies.) The following is from the U.S. Department of Transportation/Federal Aviation Adminstration website:
Other news adds to a consideration of dark and fearful views of space as being a manufactured one, a controlled one. Little droplets of fear about space, along with news of government agencies that looked into UFOs closing, have been released steadily the past few years. Two things are occurring at the same time, two systems of activity concerning UFOs and esoteric realms. One is the denial and heavy handed pronouncements from authorities about the unseen (paranormal, UFOs, outer space, strange things in the skies, shutting down of government agencies that looked into UFOs.) The other is the obvious, blatant and can not be denied reality of weirdness literally above our heads (Norway spiral, crashing meteorite, beams of light from odd looking craft, non-stop sightings and high strangeness experiences, serious research.)
As if all this isn't enough, Hawkings is still causing a stir, this time concerning time travel and DARPA. Alfred Lambremont Webre writes:
None of this matters. People have already been bedazzled; I've spoken with many who, while having only a mild interest in UFOs at best, have taken Hawkings words to heart. Because, as has been said to me many times lately, Hawkings is a brilliant man, and a scientist. Therefore, he knows what he's talking about. The meme's been released.
I was recently briefly interviewed on a local radio program; they wanted my take on what Hawkings had said about aliens. The part where I prefaced my answer to their question "How many UFOs have you seen?" was edited out. What I had said was that UFOs means unidentified and that I think a lot of what we see up there is ours. Which doesn't make it any the less weird; if it's ours, but operating covertly, and doing suspicious things like spraying mist onto buildings, beaming blinding white beams of light onto people and so on, well, we have an issue.
It seems something is intent on distracting us from the realities of the covert, such as DARPA and other classified operations, as well as the truly anomalous.
Stephen Hawkings, brilliant man, which no one argues, doesn't think much about UFOs or those that "believe in" them. In fact, he's said of those that take the subject seriously:
"We don't appear to have been visited by aliens," Hawking said, adding that he discounts reports of UFOs. "Why would they only appear to cranks and weirdoes?"
Those comments, juxtaposed with the comment that only "cranks and weirdos" see UFOs, give us a conflicting and cynical view of the whole phenomena. We have to be careful of thinking aliens would be benign; loving ETs like space age Jesus's, come to save us from ourselves. The belief that because a race of beings are technologically advanced also makes them more spiritually/emotionally advanced doesn't follow, but neither does the idea, like Hawkings, that they'd be out to eat us for lunch. Hawkings presents us with a sort of anti-Disclosure. Which brings me to the paranoid part.I imagine they might exist in massive ships, having used up all the resources from their home planet.'Such advanced aliens would perhaps become nomads, looking to conquer and colonise whatever planets they can reach.'It would be 'too risky' to attempt to make contact with alien races, he concluded.'If aliens ever visit us, I think the outcome would be much as when Christopher Columbus first landed in America, which didn’t turn out very well for the Native Americans.' Stephen Hawking: Earth could be at risk of an invasion by aliens living in 'massive ships'
Dear Prof. Josephson,
I am very sorry to have to inform you that, at my initiative, Mike Towler and I are withdrawing our invitation for you to attend our workshop at The Towler Institute this summer.
It has come to my attention that one of your principal research interests is the paranormal. I have told Dr Towler that, in my view,it would not be appropriate for someone with such research intereststo attend a scientific conference. On this basis, I have urged him to agree to withdrawing the invitation, much to his personal regret. I do wish I had noticed this earlier, the oversight is entirely my fault. Nothing personal, of course. It is a purely intellectual matter. We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused, and wish you a pleasant summer. Paranormal Regret, The Daily Grail,
So a conference on QM can't allow for a Nobel Prize winning collegue if he thinks too far outside that box.
But back to Hawkings and psy-ops. This from UFO-Blogger:
There is, however, plausible contextual evidence, that Stephen Hawking’s carefully crafted statements as a protégé of the Royal Society may in fact be a component of a long-term psychological operation (“psyops”) by U.K. military intelligence to brainwash the human population into fear-driven support of the weaponization of space, and acceptance of a possible false flag war in space against a hyperdimensional extraterrestrial civilization which is being groomed as a foe of humanity’s sovereignty over Earth’s 3rd dimension.
It may be more than a curious coincidence that both Simon Conway Morris, professor of evolutionarypaleobiology at Cambridge University and a keynote speaker at the Royal society January 2010 conference on extraterrestrial life at the, and Stephen Hawking, Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge for thirty years and one of the youngest members ever to be inducted into the Royal Society, should parrot each other with almost the same verbatim observations about the dangers of interacting with all extraterrestrial civilizations.

Prof. Hawking’s statements on time travel can been seen in a segment (Episode 1-5) of the Discovery channel documentary embedded in the article below. In the documentary segment, Prof. Hawking first affirms the theoretical reality of time travel. He then describes (and the documentary depicts) a theoretical time-travel portal in terms that are very similar to secret U.S. government time travel portals by independent whistleblowers from U.S. time travel projects, Andrew D. Basiago, a Cambridge University graduate and former DARPA Project Pegasus time travel participant, and former U.S. serviceman Michael Relfe. (Why is Hawking affirming time travel theory and appearing ignorant of DARPA secret time travel?Theories about Hawkings being invovled in disinfo continue. Webre writes, in the same article:
Stephen Hawking’s April 25, 2010 public statements about extraterrestrial civilizations can be plausibly interpreted as a part of a larger psyops – psychological operation – by U.K. military intelligence to use Hawking’s carefully crafted profile as Royal Society protégé in brainwashing the human population into fear-driven support of the weaponization of space, and acceptance of a possible false flag war in space against a hyperdimensional extraterrestrial civilization which is being groomed as a foe of humanity’s sovereignty over Earth’s 3rd dimension. It's not all that far fetched to consider this angle. For some reason, in the UK, there have been several staged scenarios invovling UFOs at schools. Students, parents, and some staff, are witnesses to what they believe at the time to be real crashed UFOs, alien abductions, or other violent, intrusive acts, such as the murder of a teacher in front of students. Are these scary events preparing us for something in the near future?
If Stephen Hawking has been recruited by U.K military-intelligence (or some other entity) to engage in a disinformation campaign about extraterrestrial civilizations, then the likelihood that the informationthat he is imparting about the science of time travel is also part of an intentional “disinformation” campaign escalates.
