Venus Contactee Update
I stumbled on a bit more about Omnec Onec: The case of Omnec Onec, an alleged 'Venusian'. Other Venusian contactees, Venusians, and "walk ins" are mentioned, including Val, or Valiant, Thor.
Omnec came to earth in 1955 from Venus, specifically:

Omnec came to earth in 1955 from Venus, specifically:
in a town called Teutonia (a city whose name reflects earlier Venus-Earth contacts that included a trip to Venus by a German scientist). She alleges that she lived on an astral plane -- without a physical body -- until she was instructed by her leaders to travel to Earth with a message of peace and brotherhood.Like many of the Contactees, the 1950s seemed to be the decade. However, as researchers have pointed out, including Nick Redfern (Contactees: A History of Alien-human Interaction) there are plenty of contactees, (reffered to as "hidden contactees")in the world right now; they haven't gone away with the ending of the '50s.
The first International UFO Congress convened in Tucson, Arizona, in November 1991, in the presence of presenters Valery Uvarov and Marina Popovich from Russia; Irina Gracchi from Brazil; Anthony Dodd from England; and Omnec Onec from Venus. A standup survey of the 300-or-so attendees would attest to the fact that Omnec stood out from all other presenters.I love the following description of Omnec at the conference: silver stilettos, "blood-red" polish:
Omnec had a very high IQ. She seemed to know a little bit about almost everything, and could carry on a conversation with anyone about anything. She also had a considerable degree of physical charm: Maybe it was the Chicago accent combined with blood-red nail polish, combined with spiked silver heels - which collectively upstaged her alien intelligence, like the floating vixen in a magic show.Continuing the Contactee/Venusian theme, here's a clip of researcher Greg Bishop (UFO Mystic blog, author of Project Beta,) speaking on the Contactee era at Gaint Rock, California.

New Trickster's Realm: Women From Venus
On Tim Binnall's BoA: Women From Venus.
A typical Contactee encounter took place between human and alien who was often, but not always, Venusian. Contactees were invited into space ships, taken for rides to other worlds, given lessons and information on coming changes for earth and humanity, metaphysics and the like. But there were some Venusian encounters of a different kind.
These Venusians had a different way of going about things. Instead of meeting human contacts out in the deserts or woods, they took another approach. "Omnec Onec" was a Venusian who "walked in" or took over, the human body of Sheila, a seven year old girl who had died in a bus accident. The book, UFO: From Venus I Came, relates the story of this human/Venusian "Contactee."

Computer Problems
I'm having computer problems and that's why I haven't posted much lately. It's a little scary to realize how much I depend on my laptop; all my stuff is on there and so on. I'm using another computer at the moment but not sure how much time I have with it. So, there's that. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Update on Hotlinking and Stealing Content
In response to Hotlinking and Stealing: Don't Be An Ass, Atrueoriginal has written up this, which is very illuminating and gives us more details on what's going on with the hotlinking and stealing of her content.
Lesley at The Debris Field, and Interstellar Housewife have been posting about this as well. The more bloggers, writers, website owners, etc. who confront the issue of hotlinking and stealing, the better.
Giving credit in a passive aggressive manner doesn't help much. I've seen sites post articles of mine, in full, without "by Regan Lee," or even "from The Orange Orb," just the article. Then, at the bottom in teeny font, is the url, not even the name of the source with link embedded, or name. Sure, technically the offending site links back to mine, but my ego is big enough to want my name up there for all to see under the title of the damn thing I wrote. Or at least, the title of my blog. Speaking of egos, I'm more than happy to have others use my stuff, use it all you want! Just cite my name and link back.

Hotlinking and Stealing: Don't Be An Ass
Stealing content is nasty, and just because it happens to a lot of us doesn't make it right. No matter how small or trivial it might be, ripping off content and making it appear as if it's your own writing, from your own site/blog, is wrong, unethical, immoral, and lazy. What's worse is when it's from someone who should know better; a UFO or Bigfoot site/blog, etc. that appears to be valid.
Speaking of asses -- supreme asses -- Atrueoriginal, who brings us daily UFO and paranormal news with her Alien, UFO & the Paranormal Casebook, has been the victim of hotlinking. Hotlinking is not only stealing content, which is bad enough, but often costs the legitimate writer/site owner money. Other victims of this latest theft of content and hard work include Jospeh Capp of UFO Media Matters.
For more on this see Lesley's post on her blog The Debris Field, and be sure to read the comments, many from Atrueoriginal, that further explain what is going on, and what to do about it.
In some ways this is an elephant in the room among UFO, paranormal and Bigfoot, etc. researchers. No one wants to come across like they're a whiny nitpicking nerdling, but when someone rips off your content, no matter how small the item may be, it's stealing, and people who steal shouldn't be allowed to get away with it.

More Contactee Synchronicity
I was working on my new Trickster's Realm column for Tim Binnall's BOA, which is due Monday. The piece is on Contactees. I had decided to include this painting by a woman who I wrote about for UFO Magazine several months ago. That article hasn't appeared yet in the magazine, but I thought I'd use one of her paintings, since it fit in nicely with what I was writing about for Tim.
It wasn't until I finally found her images on my hard drive (I have to get organized!) and the earlier article with the correct spelling of her name, which after all this time I wasn't sure of, that I realized her name was: Diana! Diana Pizzuti, a California artist who paints images of alien encounters, some of which are based on her family's experiences.
(Painting by Diana Pizzuti)
Diana is a form of Diane, and is of course the entity from Venus Contactee Dana Howard wrote about, also the middle name of my good friend Stella (which means star.) And Dana is the name of Nick Redfern's wife; Redfern being the author of Contactees: A History of Alien-Human Interaction, of course.

Translation of Mexican Pyramid UFO
Many thanks to red pill junkie! He was kind enough to take the time to translate what was being said in the YouTube video clip about the pyramid UFO seen in Mexico that I posted about yesterday. (See Pyramid UFO
Here's what rpj has to say:
Also interesting detail about the straight line between the three areas; suggesting a ley line or energy path. But, as rpj says, "What does that mean? Beats me!"
Here's what rpj has to say:
OK: First of all, the city in which the video was recorded is NOT Tepec, but Metepec, in the State of Mexico. Metepec has been a hot hub of UFO activity allegedly since the 1990s —there have been some controversial videos from that place as well, such as the (in)famous alien video shot in Metepec by a woman who claimed to have seen a midget-like figure of light in a field next to her house— BTW, I once went to Metepec and met some guys who worked for the telephone company, and they claimed to have seen a UFO landing; maybe they were making fun of me, but they seemed sincere. And he's right of course about the name game Trickster fact that the UK UFO -- triangular, pyramid shaped -- appeared in Deltoid, UK, named after the same shape, further underscored by the its letter origins.
But I digress...
Anyway, that Pedro Hernández guy seems to be part of the team of UFO hunters that collaboate with Jaime Maussan (IMO Maussan has lost much of the credibility he held in the past, but I guess ome people still consider him the top Mexican UFO investigator; but that of course does not mean his UFO hunters are not observing and recording unusual things, thanks to their patience and seemingly ample free time to spend looking up to the sky). There were 6 witnesses in this particular sighting, and the people observing it with binoculars said the object had a pyramidal shape (something that it's not easy to perceive in the video due to its low quality). Hernandez says the object was first noticed by a child, so appaently it could be seen in plain sight.
There's also another city called Metepec in the state of Puebla, near Atlixco, where there were also a lot of UFO activity in he 90s. I just made a nice interesting experiment with Google maps. I pinpointed Metepec (Puebla), Metepec (S o M) and found they are relatively close; and even MORE interestingly, if you pinpoint the Popocatepetl volcano (another hot hub of UFO activity) one almost gets a straight line between these three places!
What does that mean? Beats me! :)
PS: Also interesting that they saw a pyramidal UFO in Deltoid, UK. Deltoid literally means 'with a Delta form' and of course Delta is the greek letter that has a form of a triangle.
Also interesting detail about the straight line between the three areas; suggesting a ley line or energy path. But, as rpj says, "What does that mean? Beats me!"
Pyramid UFOs
I’ve been commenting on general sky and UFO weirdness, including Russian strangeness, among which was the pyramid UFO seen over the Kremlin.
But there have been other similar UFOs in recent days. Another pyramid UFO was seen in Deltoid, England on the 27th.
UFO Deltoid England Dec 27 2009: Another Pyramid UFO? from Pair A Normal Guys brings us video of the object.
Billy Booth has an item about a pyramid UFO seen in Tepec, Mexico, with a link to a YouTube video of the object. (UFO Video - Tepec, Mexico I think the object is from November, that’s the date given when the item was posted. As Billy points out, there isn’t much information, text wise, in the blurb accompanying the video, and, it’s in Spanish. (My Spanish isn’t good enough to really figure out what’s being said.) I did find the following comment, left by “sebring98” on YouTube interesting:
Godlike Productions message board has some clips of these pyramid UFOs.
All these clips show similar objects, moving slowly, drifting, rotating. Balloons are an easy and almost obvious guess, but they move too slowly, or rather, too considered in their movements. Controlled blimp type objects, for surveillance purposes, might be closer to a likely possibility. It is odd -- meaning, not a coincidence -- these things have appeared in the past couple of months. Whatever they are -- high tech balloon toy, surveillance object, media or game advertising, among the many possibilities -- they’ve been released at the same time for impact.
In a somewhat related item, the ATS (Above Top Secret) site has an extremely intriguing, and in depth, item on a UFO seen over the Kremlin in 1808! Here’s an excerpt from the ATS post from the original news item:

Flames and lights over the Kremlin”
“First September 1808, to the 20,07 hours, in the smooth and seeded sky of stars, has taken place a phenomenon of incomparable beauty and rigor; the phenomenon was so large that nothing of similar never had been seen before. The event was accompanied from a sound more and more hard, while the luminous arc in the sky was increasing to the horizon, passing from 55 almost 90 degrees. Slowly it has been arrested between clouds, arranging itself in along over the Kremlin like thick long straight and compact a slab approximately 6,35 meters and 3,5 meters, formed to layers.
On the frontal edge, in direction the south-west, a flame oval has been revealed, its dimensions was approximately of two meters. The particularitity of the flame was its consistency that can be only confronted to flames of alive phosphorus.
“As it floated in a sea of sparkes, the flame has illuminated all the atmosphere around creating the illusion of the light of the day; suddenly the flame is disappeared and the light is disappeared, but the luminous slab is remained where it was and enough uniform it has gone perpendicularly towards the high, reached stars until to remain visible for approximately two minutes when, without to disappear, it has gotten lost between clouds to an extraordinary height.”

Russia Plans to Plan a Plan to Hit Asteroid
Russian sky and space weirdness continues. We've had the Blue Spiral ("failed Russian missile"), pyramid UFOs over the Kremlin, and now this: news from Russia's space agency that it plans to:
knock a large asteroid off course and reduce the chances of earth impact, even though U.S. scientists say such a scenario is unlikely. The asteroid is Apophis; 885 foot (give or take I'm sure) object that isn't worrying US scientists much:
NASA had put the chances that Apophis could hit Earth in 2036 as 1-in-45,000. In October, after researchers recalculated the asteroid's path, the agency changed its estimate to 1-in-250,000.
NASA said another close encounter in 2068 will involve a 1-in-330,000 chance of impact.
"It wasn't anything to worry about before. Now it's even less so," said Steve Chesley, an astronomer with the Near Earth Object Program at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory.Russia sees things differently:
Without mentioning NASA's conclusions, Perminov said that he heard from a scientist that Apophis is getting closer and may hit the planet. "I don't remember exactly, but it seems to me it could hit the Earth by 2032," Perminov said.
"People's lives are at stake. We should pay several hundred million dollars and build a system that would allow us to prevent a collision, rather than sit and wait for it to happen and kill hundreds of thousands of people," Perminov said.Russia's space agency feels confident they can build what they need to build in time, and successfully complete their mission. But this last statement, by the Institute of Astronomy Director Boris Shustov, is cryptic:
"Apophis is just a symbolic example, there are many other dangerous objects we know little about"The juicy invitation to speculate that this comment hands us is too interesting to ignore ... UFOs? Disclosure? War? Political posturing? Staged events: religious, alien, etc?
"Apophis" is the Egyptian:
demon serpent of darkness whom Ra, as sun god, destroys every morning at dawnWhat we can't do with that fun fact of esoteric imagery! (Remember the recent BVM apparition in Egypt earlier this month.) In the context of the already mentioned Russian displays, the plans to plan to plan an attack on Apophis, combined with Shustov's comment, we can expect more Fortean and generally weird things to come surrouding Russia.

While not necessarily taking a solid standpoint with regards to the definitive nature of such entities, the intention is to explore the phenomena associated with them as they are experienced: that is phenomenologically - what might be called an "as if" approach.

FAA and BAASS: An Octopus Creation
Many thanks to Atrueoriginal of Alien UFO & The Paranormal Casebook, who gives us daily links to dozens of stories of UFOs, ghosts, related TV programs, podcasts and more every day for the following link: FAA Issues Order On UFO Sightings.
My previous post acknowledged my unease with the FAA promoting Bigelow's para-government, newly formed official/unofficial UFO reporting center.
Aileen's link leads us to the original story, which is an enthusiastic piece on Bigelow's work, including the news from the FAA that Bigelow is their official, sanctioned collector of UFO sightings.
Why has the FAA suddenly decided it will acknowledge the UFO presence, encouraging witnesses to report their sightings, when in the past, silence and repression of those who reported sightings were the norm?
Some see this as good news; as I commented in the previous post, good news! At long last the FAA has opened up, allowing pilots, etc. to report their sightings without fear of losing their jobs. I acknowledge my inner paranoia, or at least, find it suspect, that Bigelow "focuses on the identification, evaluation, and acquisition of novel and emerging ... technologies worldwide as they specifically relate to spacecraft." (italics mine) Whose spacecraft?
BAASS is in Nevada, and the obvious connection to Area 51 can't be denied. Background checks are a natural expectation, but if Bigelow is a civilian entity, why "qualify for secret and top secret clearances?" Of course, like defense contractors and other corporations in the increasing globalist-government, Bigelow is not strictly a civilian entity.
There are speculative scenarios; one being that the FAA, the shadow government, and Bigelow, are fully aware of an extraterrestrial presence and there is some sort of space chess game going on. Another is defense; man made uber- secret technologies, wrapped up in a tangled, octopus creation of espionage, war, and global control.
Whatever the real motive, the least likely is an altruistic gesture by the FAA to the public about disclosure or a benign appreciation for UFOs in context of the citizenry.

Now, the FAA says that you should call one of his mysterious companies if you see an UFO.
Bigelow Aerospace – already has two private test space stations in low Earth orbit: Genesis 1 and 2. His plan is to have a hotel in orbit, and he’s steadily on course to achieve his objectives. The guy and his Errol Flynn moustache may seem eccentric to some, but he means business.
Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies.
According to the last order by Federal Aviation Administration – issued on December 10 – BAASS is now the organization to contact if you are a pilot or an air traffic controller who gets close to an Unidentified Flying Object:
Why has the FAA suddenly decided it will acknowledge the UFO presence, encouraging witnesses to report their sightings, when in the past, silence and repression of those who reported sightings were the norm?
Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies (BAASS), a sister company to Bigelow Aerospace, is a newly formed research organization that focuses on the identification, evaluation, and acquisition of novel and emerging future technologies worldwide as they specifically relate to spacecraft. BAASS is headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Candidates must qualify for secret and top secret clearances and must be willing to submit to a thorough background check.

Official UFO and Anomalous Reporting Agenda?
I had just posted something about MUFON's response to the Texas UFO sightings on my blog UFO Proletariat, then went about surfing all the UFO and Fortean realms on line and found Barf Stew: FAA Makes Curious "UFO Call Statement" - As UK Shuts Down Same. Continuing with the theme of UFO research groups and their agendas, Barf Stew asks why is it the FAA did a complete turnaround regarding the reporting of UFOs? There is no official government UFO reporting authority, but now we have an officially sanctioned agency to report to: Bigelow!
Good questions. Bigelow, as Barf Stew points out, is part of MUFON's "Starteam"
As Barf Stew comments, on the surface this seems like good news. Money coming to support UFO research - finally! But being suspicious, as I am, as Barf Stew is, and others seem to be, this doesn't seem like the good news it pretends to be. First of all -- and this should seem obvious -- the government's involved. And while, all along, the government has presented an indifferent face to us about UFOs, it's a logical and safe assumption to make that the government has been covertly working away at the UFO phenomena for decades.
This line makes me wonder: "UFO/ unexplained phenomena reporting data collection center," -- anyone with a UFO sighting or "unexplained phenomena" and of "an anomalous nature" should take to Bigelow.
Are we to see a possibly mandated reporting of "anomalous" and "unexplained" events to para-governmental agencies? (This reminds me a bit of a novel I wrote twenty years ago or so; (unpublished and sitting in a box somewhere) where UFO sightings had to be reported to the government. If it were discovered you had a sighting and didn't report it, it was curtains!)
"Persons wanting to report UFO/unexplained phenomena activity should contact a UFO/ unex plained phenomena reporting data collection center, such as Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies (BAASS) (voice: 1-877-979-7444 or e-mail: Reporting@baass.org)"
Now, being the type of person I am ------- suspicious ---------- this seemed odd; weird, strange, ----- almost Fortean. Why would the FAA, after ALL these decades, suddenly, have an interest in UFO reports and WHY would suddenly - there be a `specific' group to call? WHY? And who is BAASS?
Good questions. Bigelow, as Barf Stew points out, is part of MUFON's "Starteam"
Now, believe it or not - this is where all of this begins to get interesting to a UFO blogger like myself. The reason being -- Mr. Bigelow recently became the moneyman behind a new MUFON endeavor called `Star Team' - a supposed 24/7 group of folks ready to investigate UFO reports of an anomalous nature. Here's the lowdown on `Star Team'http://www.mufon.com/documents/STARTeamImpactProjectOverview.pdf.
As Barf Stew comments, on the surface this seems like good news. Money coming to support UFO research - finally!
