Deaf Dream, Archangel Metatron

This doesn't have anything to do with UFOs, but I find the following interesting for several reasons, mainly, the synchronicity involved. As always, wondering about the connection, if any, between synchroniciites and paranormal/UFO experiences.

I had two dreams last night. I think of them as two different dreams but they could have been the same dream, who knows. I'm leaving out some details, but the basics:

I'm at work (which is a school) in the underground parking/storage area. (There's no actual such place in the "real" world school; the dream mind made this up.) There's a steep driveway that goes down from the sidewalk to the underground area,* and an automatic garage type door that's closed about two thirds of the way, exposing a small opening. Daylight comes through; it's dim inside the parking/storage area but light outside. I'm not sure what I'm doing in here -- fixing something or looking for something maybe -- but I'm on my knees, doing whatever it is I'm doing. I hear, inside my head, a switch being flicked off (or on) and abruptly, I go deaf. Completely deaf. Not just hard of hearing, or muffled sounds, but deaf. I cannot hear a goddamn thing. Of course I'm terrified, very panicky. The custodian sees me through this opening (in "real life" he's a very nice person) and sees that's something wrong. I'm screaming -- or think I am, I'm deaf, so it's hard to tell -- "I can't hear!!!!! I can't hear!!!!" He comes inside and to see the extent of my deafness, he jumps up and down around me, makes all kinds of noise, but I can't hear a thing. He then tells me - - and in typical dream logic, I can "hear" him even though I can't hear -- that he's taking me to the hospital and I have nothing to say about it; he's worried and he's taking me. I call my husband -- again, makes no sense but seems logical in dream time -- to meet us there.

Later (same dream? different?) I'm working with a student who is deaf. I'm not, I'm using sign language to communicate. Except, I don't know sign language! And I'm wondering why is it the school system has me assigned to this student when I am clearly not qualified. There's another teacher with us who does know sign language but I'm expected to take the lead and it seems to be all right with this teacher that I don't know what the hell I'm doing. Somehow, I manage to fumble through and communicate with this student.
*I did have a dream about blue-suited aliens in a parking garage sometime back.

This morning I awoke and read the following item in today's paper: Researchers document distinctive Hawaii Sign Language.

Some dream interpretations resources say that dreams of losing your hearing has to do with financial success; prosperity, windfalls. I have been working on this and Archangel Metatron (which seems to be the archangel that communicates the strongest and most immediately with me.) One thought that came to me: finding ways to communicate in spite of perceived obstacles. I go deaf, but can still understand and communicate. I teach another who is deaf, and while I don't know her language, I can still communicate with her, despite flaws in the system (assigning me to her in the first place.) Me being "underground" not a bad thing. Hidden, different, not many aware of the place, but light comes through, help comes through (the custodian) and I seem to know all about it and in fact, am working there.  Overall, a positive dream.

Here's what angel healer and author Doreen Virtue writes about archangel Metatron:
If you feel drawn to help children (your own, or children in general), ask Metatron for an assignment that mirrors your natural talents and interests. Metatron works closely with psychic and sensitive kids, and he loves to help adults help these children. If you need more time, money, ideas, contacts, or other support for this mission, call upon Metatron. He'll help you manifest your needs so you focus can be directed toward his bellowed Crystal and Indigo Children.

I didn't know this about Metatron at the time of my dream; for whatever reason, and to my surprise, he's been coming through to me for some time. Since I work with children from ages six through 14, I found this another synchronicity!

Deer Synchronicity

I've been working on a writing project the past week. In connection with the project, I was going through my files about deer last night -- specifically, deer stories involving UFOs and the paranormal, Fortean deer stuff. Later, in bed, I was trying to think of a title; all I had so far was something clunky like "Fortean Animal Tales." Suddenly, it came to me: Lola's Deer. I felt good about that, then turned on the radio to listen to Coast to Coast. The guests Noory had on were Trish and Bob MacGregor,  and I had just tuned in to the part where they were discussing a UFO event with several deer bodies lying "prostrate" (I think that's the word they used on the ground. Not only was that a strange synchronicity, but the emotion that came over me when I heard that was also very strange. I don't know why I had such a physical, visceral reaction. Oh yes, to top things off, I received an email yesterday from someone who shared his mysterious deer experience with me; an encounter that involved possible abductions and screen memories.  He gave me permission to use his story, which I will do at a later date.

Two Little Bits of Synchronicity

Love tracking those moments of synchronicity. I had two moments last night. Firstly, working with my Deviant Moon deck. Not wearing my glasses, I misread/saw the Knight of Cups as the Page of Cups. When I looked closer, I saw that I had read the layout as if the Knight of Cups was the Page; so I drew a card from the top of the deck for further insight, something I sometimes do. That card was the Page of Cups.

Later, listening to Coast to Coast with guest Robert Knight, discussing remote viewing. At one point as Knight was talking, I wondered why he hadn't included Ingo Swann in his list of researchers and thinkers. "Swann was one of the pioneers in all this!"I thought. How odd he doesn't mention him. A pause, then Knight goes into Ingo Swann.

Magnitude 4.8 - SOUTHERN TEXAS

Surprising earthquake in Texas today, listed in the "significant earthquakes" section of USGS: Magnitude 4.8 - SOUTHERN TEXAS. I posted last night that I've been feeling a strong sense that earthquakes -- or some sort of earth event to do with the ground/land, not clear on what that means -- that kind of activity will happen soon, within two weeks, sooner than not. Although I sensed west coast and/or Hawaii, Japan, not inland. Looking at the U.S. earthquake maps, there has been unusual inland activity lately. Texas: fires, dust storms, earthquakes. Very strange.

Dark Magic and Crop Circles

An interesting account from Nick Redfern on a crop circles, peacock feathers, and dark magic with sinister intent: Crop Circles and Sorcery | Mysterious Universe.
Although many students of the Crop Circle phenomenon conclude the intricate formations that dominate the fields of Britain each summer are the work of aliens, evidence suggests the world of the Occult may play a far more significant role in the phenomenon than anything that E.T. might ever have to offer.
An odd bit of coincidence here; a few days ago I had posted here on the Orb a dream I had involving crop circles and unseen, malevolent forces: Cold Crop Circles.

This is an interesting idea about magick and crop circles. Like  the UFO phenomena in general, from sightings of objects to non-human entities and abductions, there are definitely  occult aspects to all these things. (That was the subject of Redfern's book Final Events.)

Charny, Charnie, Chani

Nick Redfern sent me an email commenting on my Calling for Mothman post at UFO Mystic, noting a connection between the name "Charny" (or Charnie) in my dream, and the robot Chani in the sci-fi film (in the "so good at being bad" B-movie genre)  Devil Girl From Mars, which he wrote about on his Contactees blog:

And . . . more owls

Yes, more owls. Today in a room at work; the large bulletin board had . . . owls. Owl figures all over the place.

All this owl synchronicity -- in part, as I wrote earlier (see my owl posts below) it's messages, signals, signs, along the lines of "they're noticing you're noticing them" kind of thing. I put the intent out, as to conscious recall of orange-orb and related encounters, including missing time, and this is what happens. Throw in my affinity and relationship with animals, and we're off. But on a more mundane level, it's possible that owls are a new fashionable/trend/fad image in the culture stream; nothing esoteric, although, it is esoteric. The young person wearing a tee shirt with a giant owl on it is just wearing something they think is cool or looks good, but I doubt they're into esoteric-alien abduction-Illuminati symbolism.

But "they" know. Heh.

More Owls. . .

I 've been posting lately about owl synchronities and imagery in media. The other day I posted about another owl synchronicity: at work, someone came in wearing a large tee-shirt with a large cartoonish human figure that was part owl.  Mike Clelland commented that the post was "curiously cryptic," -- I didn't mean to be esoteric, just noting the weird owl synchronicities in my life lately. Of course, Mike has his own long term synchrocratic relationship with owls!

And so today found me in a room with a woman wearing large--- really large-- silver hoops, with some kind of figure inside the hoop. At first I thought they were some kind of flower, or leaf motif, but after awhile, I realized: yes, they were owls! Large silver colored owls, perched upon even larger hoops.

"Dream Academy" Synchronicity and the subconscious

Readers of The Orange Orb know that I post many of my UFO related dreams here. To my surprise, those posts receive a lot of comments and emails. I acknowledge I post those dreams here as a way of trying to discover . . . something . . . about my experiences. My own, free, little therapy blog. But others find something in these posts, as I do in the posts of others who write about their dreams, and other  vague, surreal moments. Mike Clelland's blog, hidden experience, Anya is a Channel, The Secret Sun, among others, discuss dreams, symbols, images as a language connected with the esoteric.  As individual and often just weird these dreams, experiences, or interpretations of seemingly mundane events are, these shared personal landscapes resonate, and often we find bits of synchronicity as well.

This morning, checking one of my favorite Fortean news sites, The Daily Grail, I find the following link: Dream Academy: Secrets of the subconscious unlocked. The article is a bit of a fluff piece and feels the need to add in the skeptic's  admonishments:

Louise Chunn, the editor of Psychologies magazine, said she could imagine dream groups taking off, in much the same way that "today's narcissistic society" is addicted to talking about itself on Twitter. "I can imagine talking about your dreams becoming a trend in the way that people photograph their food. Is this just another way to validate ourselves?" She warned that the upshot could be to leave those with less exciting dreams feeling inadequate.

Some psychologists and psychiatrists worry that dream groups might cause harm if the distressing emotions turned up by the subconscious mind are mistreated. Patrick McNamara, associate professor of neurology and psychiatry at Boston University and author of Nightmares: The Science and Solution of Those Frightening Visions During Sleep, believes that dreams shouldn't be shared with anyone who lacks due regard for their complexity.
But the point of the article is that in the UK, dream groups are popular, and individuals are finding that discussing their dreams in groups is very helpful for them. In some cultures, discussing your dreams is not considered woo or "narcissistic" it just is, an important part of the daily routine.

Not all my dreams are UFO related. I have all kinds of dreams: dreams about obvious anxieties or issues about work, daily life, stress related dreams, weird dreams because I ate too much or not feeling well, fun dreams, silly dreams. When it comes to the UFO dreams, there is the question of intepretation, meaning. Are the dreams somewhat literal, something UFO related trying to get through, or are the symbols and scenarios stand-ins for something else?
An example: I have a recurring dream that I find myself driving, usually alone, on a narrow, one lane bridge across the ocean. I just find myself in the middle of nowhere, all I can see is water on either side of me, in front of and behind me. The water comes up to the sides of the bridge, very scary. The bridge only has a small and frail rail on either side. It doesn't seem to have any purpose. It wouldn't stop a car from going off the bridge. I'm scared out of my mind because one slip and I'm in this water.  It's all so weird and scary: just one long narrow road on top of the water with no end in sight, no turn around, no signs, nothing.

I've had this dream for years, and still have it. Had one the other night in fact. What completely unglued me a few years ago was, I found myself on this very road! I was completely lost in Portalnd, no idea at all where I was, or going . . . I have no idea how I ended up on this road but there I was, on a narrow road with water all around, no signs, no turn around, no idea where I was going. None of that had to do with UFOs. Just a weird bit of synchronicity.

Memory is a strange thing. Why do we remember vivid small scenes from childhood, the rest fallen away? What was it about that moment, that's stayed with us for decades, while others seem to leave? And what of the rare "scenes" where you remember, but not sure if it happened?

Eagle Synchronicity

I had just finished my Trickster's Realm column for BoA today on eagles and UFO events. Part of that column includes this experience I wrote about on Saucer Sightings. Later, Jim, not knowing I had just written the TR piece, says to me: "There's an eagle ..." meaning an eagle on TV. The sound was off and I wasn't looking up; I'm on the laptop. Then I go to the Register Guard newspaper site and find the following disturbing item about horse deaths in Toppenish, Washington:

TOPPENISH, Wash. — Yakama Nation police are investigating the deaths of at least 11 horses near the southern boundary of the tribe’s reservation over the last few months.

Tribal Council Chairman Harry Smiskin told the Yakima Herald-Republic that few details were available, including whether the deaths are related.

Motorists reported seeing the carcasses from Highway 97 in the Satus Pass area, where thousands of horses roam in herds. Len Schulmeister, the owner of Pine Springs Resort, which is 13 miles north of Goldendale on Highway 97, said he had seen eagles eating at the carcasses of three or four horses.

Speculation has focused on whether the horses were killed as bait by eagle hunters.

Although eagle hunting is illegal, selling the feathers can be lucrative. (source: Register-Guard)
Everything about this story is tragic, including the weird reference to eagle feathers.

That Blue Spiral, and More Woman in Red Synchronicity

Many thanks to red pill junkie, who left a comment with the following link on my blog UFO Mary. The link rpj refers to is this:
Norweigan Sky Spiral-- Explained As HAARP/Project Bluebeam Demo at the Towards a New World blog. An excellent piece that includes links to articles that clearly show why the blue spiral in Norway was not a failed missile launch.

HAARP and Project Blue Beam, and in context of other weirdness in the world around the same time, like the BVM's appearance in Egypt, really, a big "duh."

Adding to the Fortean strangeness; I've been writing about the woman in the red hood and synchronicities with that and here's another one; when I went to the New World blog, the image on the left, of the blog's owner Lucretia Heart is a lovely picture of what I assume is her, all in red!

MIB Saturday

Quirky synchronicities today involving black SUVs. We saw two identical black SUVs, one behind the other, in the North part of town as we were doing errands. We made jokes about MIBS of course; I know, we're real UFO geeks. Much later, as we turned onto our street, we saw another black SUV just like the two previous ones; no markings on it but a sheriff -- who looked very serious, and he had a big moustache not seen since Tom Selleck was popular -- was behind the wheel. More MIB jokes, with a brief discussion on if that qualified as MIB or not. (It did. . .) As we were getting out of our car, another black SUV drove by, the man driving was looking intently at the houses as he drove by. He was probably just enjoying the front yards with all their roses. . . any other theory would be paranoid.

Synchronistic Linguistics and Twilight Language

I'm not sure what either one of them means; like other terms, such as exo-politics, disclosure, and post modernism, the definitions seem murky and ever shifting. But I like what I think I think those terms mean. Anyone out there who wants to educate me on these terms -- synchrnonistic linguistics, twilight language -- feel free. I know Loren Coleman refers to twilight language a lot, but haven't figured out exactly what it is.

In the meantime, I found the following article on the Paranoia Magazine site: Synchronistic Linguistics in The Matrix; Or How Bob Dobbs Became the Tetrad Manager, by Robert Guffey.

I do know I've been fascinated by juxtapositions and images as language for many years. Patterns, comparisons, startlingly little items that seemingly have nothing to do with each other and yet, for whatever reason, I see a connection. Or a . . . something. Maybe it's just the Fortean inclined mind.

You Get What You Ask For: Flying Saucer Car and Power Outage

I'm reading Andrew Colvin's Mothman's Photographer III, and it's fantastic. I really do think that this book, as well as MP II, is in the top 10 books anyone obsessed with esoterica should read. Something I read in the book last night about intent and focus in the context of paranormal or esoteric symbolic events inspired me to include that with my daily intent. So I focused on asking for something to come my way today; some kind of symbol, sign, etc. of an esoteric nature.

I spent most of the day driving, coming back from the coast where I had spent the night. So I'm driving along on the highway at about sixty miles an hour, and I see in the oncoming lane an object going a good seventy ... and it wasn't until it was right by me and whizzed on by that I realized -- it was a flying saucer!!!

I looked in my rear view mirror, yep, I saw what I thought I saw! It as very low to the ground, disc shaped, with a little point in the middle. It was a medium to dark blue color. It looked like it had three small wheel but it could have had more. I couldn't see any windows; I don't know how the driver could see out. Or fit in the thing, for that matter. It was pretty small.

If it was remote controlled, I don't see how they could get away with that. Highly illegal. And dangerous. This is a major, busy highway with lots of traffic both ways, coming and going from the coast inland. And on a holiday, more traffic than usual, with people visiting the coast for the day, or the three day weekend. Seems like a dumb thing to do, but who knows.

This area of Oregon is full of alternate technology loving people; you see all kinds of hybrid, electric and pedal powered vehicles. I have no idea what this flying saucer "car" runs on, etc. but it was damn cool.

I tried to find something on-line about it but haven't found anything yet. I'll try to draw a picture of it and post it later.

Another thing that happened: I stopped at my favorite crystal store, Planet Yachats, in Yachats. As I was chatting with the owner, I commented about the "buzzy" feeling-- I get that a lot in those kinds of places -- just then, the power went out! All the lights went out; we stepped outside, and all the little shops in the small row or block had the same thing happen; no power. From looking across the street, the power was still on over there; signs still on, etc.

New blog: Saucer Sightings

The only reason I started this new blog, Saucer Sightings, was to keep all of my UFO sightings in one place. I got tired of rewriting any particular sighting I've had. This way, they're archived in one place. I can use it as a referral: "see my blog entry on my triangle sighting here" kind of thing. There isn't much there yet, and it really won't be much other than a chronology of specific sightings and encounters. It will also include specific paranormal encouners, like ghost sightings, etc. Which, this blog was kind of, sort of, intended to be when I started it a few years ago. But as you can see, it's become much more than that!

BVM, e-books, the dangers of Bigfootry, esoteric women,

On UFO-Mary I have several new posts, including one on the Mexican edition of Playboy magazine, with it's Virgin Mary like model on the cover. Just in time for the pilgrimage to the shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

I've been experiencing a few synchroniciites related to the image of Mary, as well as Goddess energy in general. It's not surprising to find that when ones attention is really directed at something; UFOs, what have you, the synchronicities appear!

Chris Holly is a new contributor to Women Of Esoterica. Her first post is a ghost story; visit Women Of Esoterica and read Holly's, as well as entries by Kithra, Richelle Hawks, Lesley Gunter, Karyn Dolan, Farah Yurdozu, and myself.

Snarly Skepticism; also the unofficial JREF Watch, I just decided, has an entry on the dangers of Bigfoot research. Yes, dangers. The harm Bigfoot research, and just a "belief" in Bigfoot, must be told! Beware!

Usually my Trickster's Realm column for Binnall of America goes up on Monday, but recently things have been changed around a bit. So my column won't be up until Thursday. I write about the Darklore, Volume II that just came out. Speaking of, it'll make a great gift! You can find out about ordering information at Amazon.com or the Daily Grail site.

It's been snowy here, which I don't like. It's wet, it's cold, what's the point? Fortunately I don't have to go anywhere these days; I"m off for winter break for three weeks. So I'm cozy in my house, trying to work on various writing projects.

And speaking of writing projects, visit my Lulu.com storefront. I plan to have a few more things available -- some for free -- in a few days.

I was going to be on the X-Zone radio show but still sick with some cold/throat thing. I'm much better but my throat still hurts and I sound like a frog. I'm sure in a few days I'll be fine, and will post the date when I know more.

Nikola Tesla and the Electric Universe

This is a great little video on Tesla.

I've rediscovered Tesla recently, and the above link is one more Tesla related synchronicity I've experienced since I've been delving into Tesla. I have Jim to thank for this; he's been hard at work on a novel that incorporates Tesla. In doing research for the book, he's bought Return of the Dove, by Margaret Storm (a vintage copy, in green ink!) and The Wall of Light: Nikola Tesla & the Venusian Space, by Arthur Hugh Matthews.

SUNDAY ORB

Not much going on. Sick with Fall crud, low energy, but in spite of that I like the Fall and the crisp air, I've been putting up my Fall season lights, my favorite string being an icicle style string with lights that fade from purple to orange and back. Very nice. And if I hear "Harvest Fest" one more time I'll puke. So we don't offend the Christians or give off negative vibes to the little ones, we don't dare put up witches and say the dreaded word Halloween; we say "Harvest Fest."

Speaking of Halloween: supposedly the building I work in is haunted. I've personally never felt that, but others have. I'll have to pick the brains of someone who's experienced those things and see if I pick up anything. The playground, in one area seems spooky to me, maybe it's just the energy of the space itself. There was a building I worked in that I, and others, thought was haunted; I felt and saw a lot of odd things. Interesting how I'm usually sensitive to those things but every now and then I just don't pick up on it; like my friends home (they've since moved) many others saw and felt things, but me, nothing.

New posts at Vintage U.F.O., UFO Mary, James Rich Studio, Women Of Esoterica, and tëme (an animal blog) and Pulp Jello.

Why did they put The Mentalist against Fringe? And when is Torchwood coming back? I ask you.

Mac Tonnies has a new blog; it's a great idea. Things That Look Like Flying Saucers. I love it. Here's a flying saucer I found in my living room:

Lots of little synchronicities in my life lately. Again lately that is. I notice when you put out the intent, the synchroniciites appear. I've often wondered why they are so trivial much of the time, and many a skeptoid dismisses them for that very reason. But isn't it enough they're there in the first place? Simple nudges from the universe or matrix or whatever; that's all it takes.

Well, while nothing much going on here, there's always things going on in the UFO, Fortean realm on the internet, as a check of the usual will reveal. The Anomalist and other blogs, way too many to mention here, but check out my links lists and do your own searching; you'll find more than enough to keep you busy.

And while there may not be anything I have to say right now that's stunning or interesting or Big Time UFO News, that doesn't mean, as a few others -- and we do know who they are, right class? --- insist, that UFOs are dead, gone, boring, useless, pointless, etc. Far from it!

Today's Chemtrail Synchronicity:It's a Bit Eerie

It's June. Summer, school's out, warm-hot days, etc. But things are askew here in Eugene, Oregon. The school I work for, a public school, is on an alternative schedule; we don't get out until July 1, and the days here this June have been cold, rainy, strange indeed. The past few days however have been June like: hot. And all under a chemtrail laden sky.

Today and yesterday were particularly bad; tons of chemtrails in the skies. And not just straight ones, but criss crosses, loops, half circles. And a huge "chembow" around the sun today at about 1:00 pm. Yesterday gave us a sky fulll of trails, and patches of iridescent oily patches.

We've seen the chem bows before, and we've seen the oily rainbow bits as well. Not too often, but there.

Today the trails came out early, squashing hope of a blue sky, as the morning promised. Soon the sky was littered with the trails. And by 4:00 pm the sky had gone from blue and sunny with a few clouds, to a glazed milky haze that covered the sky, going from hot to muggy.

TALKIN' 'BOUT CHEMTRAILS
At work, outside, and three of us (and another adult nearby but out of ear shot, I assume. . .) discussing all the weird stuff up there, particularly the chembow. Someone thought it was because "it's the first day of summer." They hadn't heard of chemtrails; both asked me what I meant when I said that. I just told them to Google it. At least they looked up, and had noticed the weirdness, and even commented on the weirdness. One person said they don't look up much, and that anything could be going on up there, they don't think about it. I'm paraphrasing but that was the sense of it.

(With these kinds of perceptions and responses to what's right above us, it's not surprising the government can blithely get away spraying that stuff right over our heads.)

STRANGE E-MAIL
So I go inside, on break, check my e-mail. And find an e-mail from someone who said they read one of my "blog postings" about chemtrails They also live in Eugene, and commented on the chemtrails, including the chembow. Indeed, he or she called it a chembow.

What's even stranger is that the e-mail was sent at the same time (1:00 pm) I was outside with the others, looking at sky, talking about the trails. Pretty eerie!

Reminds me of the stories of people discussing crop circles and then go out to find, later that day, or the next day, a crop circles in the very spot they were discussing, etc.
